Frontier style Bowie
The blade for this knife is made from W-1 high carbon tool steel, the blade lenght is 235mm, it is 5.5mm thick on the spine. The blade flats have been left rough forged and the primary bevels and the spine have had a forced mustard etch patina applied. The overall length of the knife is 335mm. The handle scales are made from stabilised California buckeye burr which are held with two S/S Corby bolts.
The sheath has a leather inner that has been wrapped with rawhide, the front flap has four brass dots, the edge has a buckskin fringe and the sheath is decorated with four brass cones, beads and horse hair tassels.
